Default tranny issues

So recently ive been having problems with my tranny. its auto. if i am pushing the truck a bit hard and get to say a red light i will not shift back into 1st most the time. and when im accelerating it almost feels like a fuel cut but i lose alot of speed going into final gear. not sure if thats a good enough explanation but if anyone can understand that let me know if you have any thoughts

sounds like 2 gears are trying to come one at the same time??? does it pull you down for a second then shift into a higher gear an take off like nothing happened??? might do some preventitive maintenece (SP) and have everything above the valve body re-adjusted.

ya when it does shift it just takes off. and going into the final gear it seems like it tries to down shift then nothing and i let off of the go pedal and back on it shifts

now that sounds like to much throttle pressure. that is the black cable that runs from your IP to the tranny. i dont remember the specs so im not gonna guess on the adjustment you can fry a tranny if it is adjusted wrong. check into that

youd know if its slipping. i would do a fluid change and take the pan off and make sure the bands are torqued to spec while your in there. then look at sensors. dodge auto trannys are a pain to deal with hope you find the problem
