]hi i have a 95 3/4 ton cummins i have a wiring problem all i really know is when you turn the key it makes no attempt to turn over and it blows the ignition fuse every time. it was in an accident i bought it and fixed it up so i think maybe a pinched wire or one touching a ground the owner before me had a keyless start in it but when i bought it that was taken out any help would be apreciated. thanks

 

trace the wires for ignition. something wasnt put back right after the remote start was taken out

 

ya thats what ive been trying to do but no luck any idea on what wire it could be....?

 

Most automotive shops or trade schools will give you a wiring schematic for the truck..(had trouble with my A/C clutch before and a schematic helps A LOT) As for the remote start if it worked after it was taken out and didnt blow the fues im guessing they are in the right spot. I agree it does sound like the circut is grounded though.

ya its really confusing me i also noticed the wait to start light and buzzer dont come on and im assuming this might all be related to the same problem
