FUEL PLATE QUESTION?

I know people remove there fuel plate but I was wondering if it will damage anything over time when u leave it out and if I take it out do I need to remove anything else or just the fuel plate?

from what ive read itll damage the pump but some people have done it and been fine

I wouldnt take it out for a street truck mine overfuels with a 100 plate ff and afc ff I just need advice tuning now
