Default which fuel filt housing should i have please help

Can someone please take a picture of there fuel filter housing for a 96 12valve idk if it makes a difference for that but this motor has the 215hp pump on it. mine was missing when purchased the motor and i have seen multiple different ones that all claim they're for a 96. i cant figure out which one i need for the life of me!

94-98 should be all the same I have an extra one in a box I will take a pic tomorrow

when i try to search for one i get three different kinds that all say there for those years or 94-00 or 96-98. just want to make sure i get the right one and dont waist money on the wrong one

the link of the photo just takes me to there home page not to your photo. but if its the right one how does $40 sound plus what ever shipping is.

94-95 have a can filter like a oil filter that spins on, 96-98 have a filter that you screw the plastic lid off and pull a filter element out..

Im pretty sure they are all the same from 94-98. My 97 had canister style filter originally and when I got it, it had a prime lok remote filter mount and now I have a Airdog on it so all of it is gutted. I got rid of my filter head also so I cant upload any pics. It should be a (canister) style filter on the rear drivers side of the block that looks very similar to the oil filter and oil filter head.

I think in late 97 or 98 they started the internal style fuel filter but yours being a 96 should use the older style.

well i have already purchased the one so im sure it will work after all they do the same thing just filter fuel
