Preventive Maintenance
#2
Change all the fluids. Front and rear differentials (go with 75W-140 in the rear and 75W-90 in the front - if 4x4 - ) ATF+4 in the transfer case, again if 4x4, power steering, and change the filter along with the fluid (if an automatic). If it's a manual, have to read up on what fluid is needed as I don't know off hand. Flush the brake system through the calipers (be sure to suck as much of the old fluid out first, other wise you'll end up taking the master cylinder out from rust and water. Change the coolant, hoses, thermo-stat, and the serpentine belt, along with the tensioner and idle pulley bearing. Grease every zerk you can find, and don't forget the front shaft fitting. Change the fuel, air, and oil filters along with the oil.
