sorry for the nube question but what is the purpose of the 4k gov kit? is it to just run the engine to 4k? can the stock engine handle this? what other kind of mods would i need to run this?

I just ordered my 4k from bbd today. The heavier springs hold the gov weights from spreading out as quick which let's the truck fuel longer. You could turn 4k but they fuel hard to about 3700 then start to "defuel". You will want to run 60lb valve springs for sure and if you plan on holding it **** tight for extended time you might want to invest in a fluid dampner .
