Default GEAR RATIO'S
What is a good gear ratio for worked cummins with 35" or 38" tires???? I'm running 3.54 with 35" tires....1575 RPM @ 65 MPH in overdrive... I plow snow... but in summer want to cruze

Right now in my 3500 dually with 285/75's and I'm running 4.11's. I'll be struggling going 70 at 2400 RPM's. I'm sure tires have a big difference but I would think 4.57 or 4.88 would be too low of a ratio.

4.10's with 36.5" rubber and a 5 speed OD ratios (didn't know what ya had?) puts you just over 1900rpm at 70mph, 1800 at 65mph.

OK THANKS................I have an auto w/OD..so it will lower my RPM's.
