Question bad stumple in Park?

while driving the truck there seems to be no aparent problem. plenty of power typical horrible fuel milage. nothing unusual from any of the gauges. but when the truck is totally warmed up say your getting ready to park it for the night and just blip the throttle fast or slow -doesnt matter- it has a HORRIBLE miss?

what the hell is it?

i dont have a fuel pressure gauge but i cant hardly see it being a lift pump because the truck drives so well?

any input guys?

the truck has done this since i can remember. more notably after the 4k springs were installed. the only timei get any white smoke is at start up on very cold mornings, never a whiff after that.

the injectors have less that 4000miles on them and are, what i think any ways, Quality units? wouldnt i have more noticable issues with a faulty injector? however i do not remember if this situation existed prior to the injectors ( i think it did?) because the 4k's came right after. so i was playing with the rpm's much more right in that time frame, where i first noticed this issue?

what is so baffeling is that the truck comes into power so cleanly and builds well over 30psi or boost quickly. i can spin'em at 30mph. there is no symptom to my ear or butt under any amount of power??????????

If not injectors you may have a delivery valve out or on it way out, I was thinking along the lines of at idle a low pop or low line pressure delaying injection timing. Something of the sort could/would be less noticeable at higher rpms.

you lost me? if a DV starts to go out how does it act?

i aught to go out and see if it will work itself through the stumple and go ahead and rev out in neutral. i always get out of it when it starts missin.

The DV acts as a check valve in the injector line, it keeps pressure in the injector line around 3-400 psi. If the DV allows the pressure to bleed off it can take it longer to reach pop pressure. Then again air can cause a stumble until it "clears up"

the fuel heater is deleted. it never failed but i had a return line leak and just got rid of it while i was in there. how in the world would i check for air in the lines?

Simply cracking the lines at the injector, bleeding the filter to see if air is accumulating in the filter. Even cracking the return line to see if the IP is being fed air bubbles. You'd think that air would eventually work its way out, once the stumble went away. Knew a guy with a first gen that always started up stumbling like crazy off idle, but once he floored it afew times it cleared up. Never knew the cause, he replaced the IP and I always figured he messed up the timing. I'm still leaning towards a bad delivery valve, but I'd look into air since that can be a "free" fix compared to the price of a set of DV's.
