bad stumple in Park?
think i may have figured some of this out. timing was stock at 12.3 on my truck. just put it to 16. when the sun comes back out we shall see what it did. maybe MPG will go up about 10 LOL

16.5 maybe 17 would have been my preference, but then again I love me some timing
. I thought stock was higher than 13ish? And unfortunately if that's "stock" then why don't more factory spec trucks have this issue? Idk if it will actually take care of your problem, it may dramatically reduce the issue tho. A step in the right direction

i thought it would be higher too? i set it as if it were 13.5 like i figured it would be and after all was said and done i read the tag and low and behold 12.3. so it comes out, if im reading my paper right in the high 15's. it will get turned up a bunch more when the head work gets done. oh and i ordered some DV's to throw in there to. we shall see if that was a culprite aswell
Good to hear, didn't even think of suggesting your OFV bc you said plenty of power and smoke. Low fuel pressure I figured would have caused power loss across the band.
