Im looking at getting a 94 dodge cummins, as a buy and fix. The truck has been sitting for apprx 3 years or so, the owner said it had pump problems and thats why it was parked, and he knows nothing more about the pump. First what could of gone bad in pump to make it not run?

 

stuck plunger, racks hung up and some other things but this is something you wont be fixing yourself. It has to go to a pump shop and depending what wrong you could have a grand or better into it when its all said and done.

 

i got a rebuilt pump thats tuned and got a 4k gsk for 700
