Turning barrels

I've got a 12v valve that I'm working on and was wondering about turning the barrels. I was just wondering what this was, what I would gain, and how to do it?

alright thanks i found it. but i never saw in there what it does and what you gain from it.

short answer it allows the pump to flow more fuel ... but without putting the pump on a test stand, the fuel flow between cyl is not in balance
