Default 3 inch or 4 inch straight pipe

hey guys.. what do u all think sounds better overall. A 3 inch straight pipe or a 4 inch on the 12 valve?

Im running a 4" strait. I love it sounds great and flows awsome!!

4" downpipe, 5" straight no muffler. Gotta let the beast breathe!

But then youre gonna need to get it air...BHAF , maybe an aftermarket intake horn, bigger turbo later down the road

4 inch magnaflow or mbrp sounds amazing...i run 5 inch MBRP turbo back an love the sound...go stainless exhaust it wont rust out like the other kinds

I agree I have the 4" MBRP turbo back and it sounds really good. Really wouldnt want to run 3" though. So to answer your question 4" but 5" is always an option too.

Yea i put a 4 inch mbrp straight pipe on it and it sounds great!!

you'll like the 4 inch, less back pressure on the turbo the better

i got it 4 turbo back to 5 bed kit to 6 stacks and sounds great! so id say do 4 inch back to a bigger tip

Im gonna go with 4" as well If you want noise run a straight pipe, if you want flow but less noise just run a straight through muffler!
