Wont lock into 4wd

Ive got a 98 12v and when i first baught it it would kick out of 4wd as soon as i put it in. i can move the shifter now but it wont go into 4wd...any ideas? vacuum line?

id say the vac line that runs on top of the trans. from the spliter on the left side by the firewall

I would guess some sort of vacuum problem as well. It could be the switch on top of your transfer case, or the actuator on your front axle!

I would check all the vaccuum lines. Any little pinhole will wreak havoc with your 4wd
