any one know how hard it is to change and axle u joint? i have a 96 reg cab long bed. blew out the passengers side plowing 2 days ago. i cant drive it anywhere because it just bangs up against things. anyone done it and know how hard it is to do?

 

not bad, you do have to take the brakes off then the wheel hub and then the whole axle shaft will come out and you can change it

 

replaced both of mine the other day not hard at all do just what ^^ said you should be fine there is also a vid on youtube of some kid doing his so that might help you a little!..
