so im looking for turbo upgrades for my truck.. and i was on ebay and it shows two turbos just alike.. except one says for automatics and one says for manuals.. whats the turbo difference i thought they was the same??

 

sounds like you might be looking at turbos for 01-02 trucks in those years the autos had a smaller exhaust housing to help them spool faster for the EPA and the manual trucks had the regular housings on them

if you looking at S300 turbos some shops do use a different exhaust housing on auto trucks because of the heat exchanger also
