I recently bought a 95 12 valve I have no clue about a diesel but me and my buddy moved the fuel plate and couldnt tell a difference so i removed it and still nothing I have changed the fuel filter and a few other things I have heard people say to do the truck wont smoke and just has no power at about 2500 rpm it will white smoke any advice would be appreciated thanks

 

stock gov springs will defuel at that rpm and white smoke when, cold warm idling?

 

If low end power is still poor,
I would also slide the afc all the way foward and check the boost reference line to the afc housing.
