That's how I did mine, with all-thread and a PVC cap made to fit the seal.

Thanks guys for the advice and the heads up.

Any luck? not so much, got one from advance auto parts and tried to hammer it in, and came to find out that i bent the seal outta round. Today, picked up a seal at the dealer. Hopeing this goes well. But thats what im doin to, taking a all thread rod and putting a 1 11/16 socket (think that is the size) and it seems that the seal is going in crooked like the top was flared out and the bottom was in.But this time im gonna take the all threaded rod and put the socket on it and have a nut on the other side and pull it thru the passenger side and have someone to hold the rod while someone is hammering the seal in, also have another one watching the seal.

That's pretty much what you have to do...I wish I'd have thought of using PVC...might be a bit easier than using steel on steel. I'll have to give that a shot next time.
