This may be a little old as I am new to the site. My first tank of ULSD cleaned all the crap out of my fuel tank, lines and clogged the filter. The lift pmup started ticking. I changed the filter and mine stopped ticking.

Sounds good! Changing the filters is always good advise when running into problems - especially on the fuel system!
