bring him as low as you can. nothing wrong with talking him down. seems like a nice truck and deff a tranny problem but like was mentioned earlier ask if the KDP (killer dowl pin) has been taken care of.

Might want to set aside some $$$ in case the previous owner has thrashed the rear end the same I've inadvertently done to mine. Might not only need to Detroit it, but, depending on extent of damage, find a rebuildable core.
