Hi I am a new diesel owner I have a 94 dodge ram 2500 12 valve it's an automatic and I was wondering wht I can do to get more power it allready had a number 5 fuel plate air intake and the star wheel is forward what else can I do to my rig to more power to the wheels I need to know what I need and wgat I should do first

 

welcome to db.I would recomend getting the KDP tabbed first,then gauges.Then you can go from there.

 

I would recommend looking through the archives here. Every person comes here and asks those questions so all the answers are out there.

 

first u need gauges to moniter what your motor is doing. next would be an exhaust since you didnt mention that. then a set of 3k or 4k governor springs. if u go with 4ks, u have to upgrade the exhaust valves. once u get the gov springs, u will need to start looking into trans upgrades. at least a good tripple disk convertor and a valve body. it will save your trans for along time with more power. mine is holding 450+ hp with just the TC and VB. after the trans, u can start throwing more power at it
