hi i have a 1996 dodge cummins 4x4 auto. the truc has 191,000 on it and the tranny is shifting different i think. i floor it and it tachs out at 2 grand then i let off the gas and it slamms in to gear. but when it hits overdrive it pops in and out. can anyone help?

 

change the oil in it then report back

 

Once they start they don't stop its usually the governor pressure regulator and sensor that crap out not an expensive fix

 

i have the same problem with mine but mines gottten to the point of not really moving
