and where going to look at a 1998 12 valve cummins 4x4 5 speed extended cab has 320,000 and he's asking 6,800 obo. it has new clutch but third and fourth synchronizers are out but truck will still drive down the road. I was just wondering what you guys thought? and if theres anything i should look for on the truck?

if its stock & hasnt had anything rebuilt recenlty i wouldnt pay that much to many miles for 6800 id offer 4000 or if he fixes about 4500-5000,also check the blow by,take cap off of where you built oil in truck & rev it to about 900-1100rpm if very little or no smoke comes out the engine is probaly in good shape if alot or if it hazes entire time you rev its come some wear from its miles
that's way too high. i agree. I paid $4800 for mine stock. craigslist dude. i bought my first truck for $175. you kids these days and your money

Look around some more, don't buy the first one you find. There are better units and less money avalible. My 2 cents
