You don't have the slip yoke from the truck that caught on fire?

Should I just swap the drive shaft with the 3500 truck? Is that an upgrade at all? And if I switch those or the yoke will I have to get a different u-joint? I just replaced that one on my truck.... And I don't want to put a bad one on my truck. What kind of u-joint would I order?

Drive shafts should be the same size so no upgrade there. Just swap the slip yoke. The u joints don't need to be changed.

I have a 99 cummins 24v 3500. My np241 dhd is messed up and I'm interested in putting the 271 in it. So what will I have to do? What do you mean by messaging the frame and that you will lose your speed sensor I thought that was in the abs on the front hubs. And will the four wheel drive shifter bolt up and work like it did with my old 241and what about the the light that tells u your in four wheels drive?
