Default Lift pump issue

I didnt know where to place this so im sorry if its not in the right place.

i have a 1995 12v 3500 cummins, and for the past few weeks maybe a month or two ive been having starting problems.

if you let it sit overnight it acts like it lost its prime and you have to crank and crank and then it will start, well everyone kept telling me to replace the overflow valve and i did and it still does it.

once youve started it,it will start first hit everytime, but once you let it sit overnight it acts like the fuel has bled back and you have to crank it to get it to start.

now i believe its the lift pump, but i was wondering instead of buying another lift pump can i just buy a raptor 100 and not worry about the mechanical lift pump? or do i have to remove the mechanical one?

any help would be appreciated

Check the supply and return fuel lines. It sounds like a leak and it is losing the prime and letting the fuel run back. Mine did it and I have replaced the return line twice now. Cured the problem.

Default Starting Problems

Mine is doing the same thing and has drained both my batteries trying to start the damn thing. I have found a small leak in the rubber line going into the fuel heater but I dont know the part # to get it replaced. When I try to start my truck know it tries to start but now it seems like Im not even getting a charge. Im going to replace both batteries but any help would be appreciated.
