Default what could be wrong?

ok i have a 95 cummins and it has 140hp injectors, #0 fuel plate, little work done to injecton pump, it ideals fine and runs fine but when i put it to the floor it studers and puts a little cloud of white smoke out? what is could it be? a friend said an injector might be bad, or the lift pump is going out, or the injection pump needs to be turned up more? but i dont want to harm the tranny or clutch, some one help

i really think those injectors are a tad bit too big for that stock charger. plus a 0 plate and 140 injectors will toast the clutch if it is stock. white smoke usually means raw fuel! so it could be a bad injector washing you cylinder walls take a whiff of your tail pipe and see if it smells like raw fuel. or it could be possible you timing has slipped. that is just my 2 cents!!!!!

this sounds like a timing problem to me, or a possible air leak. check for leaks in ur fuel lines the especially the rubber lines after the fire wall, did you replace the injector washers with new washers when u put them in? if no leaks are visible check fuel pressure. if its not a leak then ur timing has slipped and it will need to be re timed

there is a second take this off and clean it with gas let it drie then fill with diesel and put it on
when you start the truck you will have to hold bout 1500 rpm for a minit or it will die and then its a bear to start back

check your timing, you will need to find someone that has the timing tools, take it to a shop to have done, or pin time it back to stock.

Where are you located?
