This turbo is not like your normal turbo, It has vanes in it that get larger as the engine rpms get higher causing the exhaust housing to act larger resulting in faster spool up and a bigger turbo when your at wot causing more boost and higher hp and torque. These turbos are also cheap and they can be used as and engine brake while hauling a trailer, or just for the hell of it.

I've been hearing Fleece Performance has a stand-alone controller that even us 12-valver's can use.

Now I wonder how pricey it is.......

Edit: called Bill @ Fleece. He said basically they are still in the R&D stage for the 12v's. He said they should be out in 60-90 days, and the price will range from $1200-2400 depending on what all you buy and if they install it.

 

Thats on the pricey side, does it include a new turbocharger?
