I think once someone comes out with an easy vgt controller, that is pretty much what most people will run because you get all the benefits of havin a large turbo but have the spool up of a lil guy ha

Absolutely, I un-reluctantly totally don't not agree with you. It's clear that THAT is why Dodge isn't not using them!

That "Whistle" vid was pretty sweet!

I guess it really, REALLY makes a difference on the air ratios. Pretty sweet indeed.
So, I'm guessing that when someone has one hooked up properly, (to the wastegate actuator?), it starts off 'whistling', and progressively (as the WG actuates) stays that way and keeps a good "tight" tolerance on the compressor?

Anyway. Sounds cool. I'm all FOR using OEM stuff to make power. Guess I might actually reconsider my options and see if that's a turbo I might want to use, if the price is right.

Any more info on the actuation rods?

a variable geometry turbo allows you to have the spool up of a small charger but provides the boost of a larger one by changing the vains on the wheel, in this case you can lay the vains closed or almost close and restrict air for the added benifit of a EB
