47RH to a NV5600

I would recommend a nv4500. Its cheaper, more fun to drive when you got power, and you can actually get cheap parts for it. I had nothing but problems with my 5600 thats just my $0.02. the adapter plate from your auto should bolt right up if i'm remembering correctly. The cheapest place i found trannies especially 4500's is at car-part.com have a look. it searches all your local junkyards.

Thats a legit point but swappin a 5 speed and 6 speed are the same thing. its almost more on what you wanna do with the truck. towing heavy i will admit is better with the 5600 but if you have some decent power it doesn't matter. i've had the 4500 and the 6500 back to back and i would highly recommend the 4500. its alot more fun. you can actually grab gears. shifting the 5600 is a ssllooww process. they are both good trannies. its all on what you prefer.
