If i find some time tomorrow i'll write you up a step by step. i did this last year but it was 4x4. its really not a hard swap. everything fits right in. its definitely the best thing you can do to an automatic. My dad and i had it done in two days. good luck

If your gonna convert it to a 6speed, you can not use 5speed parts

alright fellas i know how silly this question is but i have a 98 manual truck but i bought it with a new rebuilt auto trans but i am wondering if i could get any advice on how i will need to wire me tranny up. do i just splice it into my tps so it will shift and downshift and how do i hotwire the neutral safety switch? can i just wire it together because im putting a ratchet shifter into it im not changing the steering column. just wondering if anyone can help me with the wiring process?? thanks

nop sorry the truck was a manual but the guy i bought it from kept the trans. So i wound up with a 47RH to put into it. my question is is what do i need to do to wire the trans up change the harness, or where do i splice the wires in to the throttle positioning sensor and the neutral safety switch?? please help!!!!

Tell you the truth i do not know. My thought is, its gonna be very hard to in a auto trans bc your gonna have to trace alot of wires to hook up the govnor sensor and a bunch more.

Could you sale that auto and get a manuel
