i went off roading earlier today and when we got back on the road home the trans started to act funny, it wouldnt shift, it would either stay in second or sometimes third. once it even went to 4th but then downshifted into 3rd again. when i got home i desconected the downshift linkage and drove it and it did the same thing . i made sure it was completly dissengaged from 4x what else could be causing this . i have replaced the tps before but under different symptoms.
