Default NV4500 Swap

just wondering will my pcm and wire harness work for the standard trans when i swap or do i need a harness for a standard ?

yeah it'll work. u need to cut n splice some wires in order to make ur clutch safety switch n reverse lights work.

yep it'll all bolt right up
the trans in my 95 is out of a 96. you wont regret the swap, its a completely different truck now

the bellhousing will bolt right up. you'll need the transfer case from the manual cuz the input shafts are different. you'll also need both driveshafts cuz the standard is alot shorter than the auto. but if you get a donor truck you'll have everything u need. its an easy swap

ya how much do i need to lengthen my drive line cause the truck im getting the parts from is a single cab and i have a xtra cab he is giving me the slip joint that fits the transfer case

i did a write up on this swap a while back. the entire manual assembly including transfercase was only a inch shorter then the 47re with t case. i was able to use my stock rear drive shaft and i replace the front drive shaft with a shorter one. as for ur wiring look up my conversion write up it explains how to do everything.
