Would be head gasket on a Gas engine, not only thing it could be on a Diesel ! May just be water in your fuel, have you changed your filter lately? Air in your lines will make light gray. Don't panic, it's prob. not anything bad. Change your fuel filter, bleed your lines, and go from there.
