Default Want to tap into turn signal wires.

I want to tap into the turn signal wires at the bottom of the steering column for tow mirrors that have signals. I'm assuming I'm lookin for the green and yellow wire, Does anybody know for sure ?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Found them brown with black stripe for right and green with yellow stripe for left. Thanks anyways

The mirrors are chevy mirrors, they were on an 06 lease truck so I took em off before I turned it in. Yes they have heat, turn signals, and marker lights, ($600 new). I had to do a little back yard modifying to put them on, not a perfect fit but not too bad. I'll get some pics this weekend, I gotta get some weatherstripping to make it a better fit. Easy way to find out wich wires are the signals is just pull your cluster and look at the back of it and you can see wich wires on the plugs are for the signals, find them wires where they come down the column and tap into them. Got the led marker and signals all hooked up just got to pick up a switch for the heat. They say wire them to an ignition circuit, but I dont want the heat on all the time, I figure that would cut the life expectancy of the elements way down. It's pourin here now otherwise I would have had it wrapped up today. Man it's a biatch tryin to feed wires through the rubber boots into the doors You can check them out at TTT Mirror just Google it, They make them for 3rd Gens but not 1st or 2nd gens .

They do exactly what the **** mirrors do except the ****'s do not have the turn signal light. The ****'s are made for both 2nd gen's and 3rd gen's and are a direct bolt on fit.
