i thought a lock up switch was pretty had on the old stock input shaft. guess it all depends on how you drive and how you use it.

I'd have to go out and drive it to give you accurate numbers. I've raised the OD and lockup shift points by about 5 mph -- just enough to make it more drivable. It seems to have eliminated the short shifting and dead spot.

I knocked them out, then driilled them out about 2 sizes bigger. I could have gone more, but I had just about what I was looking for in idle voltage (1.37).

As an aside, I'm also of a mind that shifting the TCP a bit makes drivability better simply because the module gets a wear spot right at crusing rpm from sitting at that place all the time. A bit of movement by adjustment seems to let the electrical contact on the pot ride in a different spot, making shifts more responsive on top of at a slightly different rpm.

TCP is a typo... TPS is what you want to fix. I wouldn't worry about drilling the new part unless you have a warranty on it. You are not really going to hurt any of the internals by enlarging the holes a bit, and you are only going to enlarge them a BIT. Just enough to gain a couple ten-thousands of movement for adjustment.
