delete pre-filter and heater?
you can flow quite a bit more fuel the stock housing its a bit restrictive. i have deleted mine, but im california where a cold day is 40 degrees out. if your in a warm temperature you should be just fine
ya my fuel pressure is all whacked out, i bought a new lift pump for it a fuel years back and had to do some custom plumbing between the pump and prefliter and i think its causing alot of restriction so im going to by pass it all and see what happens
Is there a difference in the filter construction?
We have radial prefilters and full deep flow fine filters. It does make sense to keep the prefilter because the surface of the radial takes much longer to clogg then the fine deep flow.
So you would have to change your fine filter more often.
But I know that only from the Mogs and Mercedes semis. I don't know if this is transferable to Cummins engines.
