Here is what I use:
a Bosch prefilter as used in 256kw military stationary power generators.
You can clean it without tools and it does not restrict flow.
and as a big plus: you can see dirt in the glass bowl.
it does not leak and lasts forever.

its like 5 psi after its hot and under a load, when its cold its around twenty, i was planning on deleting the prefilter, checking and adjusting the ofv, and where the metal lines end and turn to rubber (under the drivers feet) those are the factory 95 connections and they are leaking somewhat so i was going to cut them off and slip some rubber fuel line and hose clamps on.

im hoping its just a combination of sucking air, and the 11:30pm home depote special plumbing i had to do making the fuel pressure so low

its a wierd a leak, at first it seemed to leak when you pushed the truck hard, then it stopped, then one day i was backing up 20k in low 4x4 and it was pouring out-then it slowed down, now the entired driver side carpeting is black and diesel soaked, i should have taken care of it sooner but couldnt pin point it till recently

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

so i ran a new rubber fuel line from under the drivers feet to the prefilter (deleting the two factory quick connects and braded hose) and the pressure went up to 30 or 35 at ideal, im going to clean the prefilter next,

isnt there a way to tweek the ofv to get more pressure?
