Thats because you have a open end dif in the front.

Next time you hook try and get your hooking point higher than the other persons and block your rear solid.

Traction bars will help by holding the rear axel solid, with out them the springs will cause " axel wrap" and that leads to a bounce, and normally that means your gonna break something.

i know i have open front, but the factory limited slip in the rear and both spun the same,

truck didn't bounce at all, but dug down bout 2 inches and the clay was so hard that rubber was peeling off the tires.
we hitched at the same height to make it fair, where can i get a locker for the front?
will putting a locker in the front affect 4x4 turning at all???

if its solid locked, turning will be super hard because it wont let one tire sprin faster
im sure you could put limited slip. but if you lock it solid it will make the 4x4 almost worthless

thats why you get a locker and not a spool etc. they make selectable lockers for a reason (electric, air, vacuum, etc) as stated by wes cummins
