Default trans problem

So my trans just got rebuilt a month or two ago and now for some reason it doesnt like to shift down to first but if i pull it in it drives great and sometimes it goes down on its own what do you all think it could be?

Could be an internal leak in your trans, had it happen to my buddy's grand cherokee... pretty much the same auto trans. Also could be something to do with your bands being out of adjustment

sounds like a sticking valve in the valvebody or to much throttle pressure take it back to them it should be under warranty

Could be too much throttle pressure as said above or they could have adjusted the line pressure too high also. The computer can keep it from going into first if it sees theine pressure too high and puts it in limp mode also. Check that the TV/kickdown cable is adjusted properly first.
