i just read this again.

IIRC on the 1994 setup there was a hose that ran from the AFC housing to the turbo itself. on the newer motors, like my 96 the hose went to the intake plate. if the hose on the back of the top of the AFC housing is not seeing boost then that will give you symptoms you are describing.....

i was asking if the factory line was hooked up. it is different on the 94's compared to the 96 ..... using an aftermarket turbo will require this line to be hooked up somewhere for a boost reference....

There's your problem... You can tap the line off of the afc into the intake horn like a boost gauge is. But without a boost ref for the afc the pump will not fuel correctly.

are there two hoses comming off the afc housing ( 1 to the intake on the head and the other to the turbo)? since your not using the wastegate line anymore you need to plug that off or the afc foot will never move.

no, there is only one line connected to afc housing, from the head. the htt turbo has the line goin from the waste gate to the front housing on the turbo!!!

i blew air in the wastegate line to make sure wastegate wasn't stuck an the rod moves fine!!!
