cool, put a gov spring kit in a feel the power in the upper rpm's


I had one break on me, now I carry an extra in my toolbox

 

what's a good place to buy a goc spring kit and a new throttle cable?

 

you can get a new thrttle cable off ebay for 15 bucks thats were i got mine for mu fummins conversion

 

You can get a gov spring kit from almost any of the vendors here.. Just post up in the request a price section. Keep in mind if you go with the 4k kit you'll need 60# springs so you don't float valves..

 

I don't know if that year model qualifies, but I know that the '94's had a recall on the throttle cable and if it hasn't been replaced already, you won't have to pay a cent for a replacement and installation from a dealership. I think the ignition barrel is also flagged as a recall on the '94's.

It looks like the '95 is covered by the recall. The question is whether it's already been replaced or not...

 

My '98 was covered by the recall....all 12V 2nd Gen 94-98 are affected. Call a local dealer with your VIN and have them run the VIN and check for outstanding recalls.
