Hey guy’s I have a problem I installed 4,000 k governor spring’s in my 1994 dodge Cummins 12 valve and it guns good but one problem it will not idle. And it dose not have the Trane in it or the clutch I don’t thank that would be the problem pleacs help .

 

did you measure each spring stud to .045 or.050? if anything my idel was too high and i had to turn it down. not sure what you mean by the trane in it or the clutch?

 

aaa okay that is why its not ideling okay thanks man i will do that tomorrow and tall u if that works

 

do you have the vernier calipers to get the proper measurment? kinda need that to be right on. i checked mine 3 different times just to make sure they were the same.

 

ya you gotta get those measurements pretty close

 

usually you do have to adjust the idle after the gov springs. n i think he means the transmission and clutch.
