Default afc ?

hey i got my afc off and took it apart to make some changes, i took the adapter fitting for turbo boost to put shop air to it? i noticed that the adapter fitting had a snubber in it, or a very small hole in it, does any one know if drilling the hole out would allow it to see boost faster? would it help?
