Default Slipped Timing?

So a little over a month ago, I was running about 65# of boost and I rarely got my EGTs over 1350 at WOT. Then I lost my boost, it struggled to get up to 35# and topped out before 40#s and my EGTs are around 1650/1700 at WOT. I had a boost leak, and I got that fixed, but no difference... I checked the trubo shafts this weekend and no shaft play or anything... Now I'm lost and I'm starting to think my timing might have slipped, but if I'm going to work on my problem this weekend, I would like to see if theirs anything else that might be causing this...

sounds like timing to me too. If your charger is good and you have absolutly no boost leaks, then that sounds like a good canidate. wouldnt hurt to check er out.

Could Be timing,Could Be air in the fuel system,Could also be a weak lift pump......

I would hate to for it to be my LP especially since that airdog is barely 6 months old, but I guess it won't hurt to check it out. I'm hoping its just timing...

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge?. I would hate to think that your airdog would be messing up after 6 months.. If it was a fass i would have to say yes.... alot of people around here have had nothing but trouble with the Fass pumps. Im sure they are a great product too. everybody that had a fass system sent it back and got an Air dog. what was your timing set at ?

Yes I have a FP gauge. So I know its not the airdog but everything mechanical is acceptable to failure, so that might be the next thing to check if the timing isn't the issue. But right now my timing was set at 17*. I'm going to bump it up to 22* but I was hoping to do it after the winter especially since its kinda looking like we might have an actual winter here in NM

Im curious too see if your timing is still set at 17*. I been thinking.. could there be something stuck in the charge air?. i know it sounds far fetched but i guess you have to take everything into consideration. I still leaning on timing. hope you get it figured out bud

With the symptons I'm leaning heavily on timing... We won't know til this weekend though unfortunately.... But if this doesn't fix it then I'll just have to see if the rebuild fixes my problem, I'm hoping it doesn't take that long though
