Hey guys i was driving home the other night and turned my bright lights on. about 30 seconds with them on and i lost all headlights. i had to turn it off the brights and turn the headlight **** off then back on and my dims work. ive done it several times now and my dim lights work fine but i cant use the brights at all. is this a factory recall with the switch or??

 

mines doin the exact same thing. i know the headlight switch is a recall but i already cut the plastic plug off so i dont think they'll honor the recall. it wont hurt to try th call ur local dealership and let them take a look. free work is always good

 

There was a recall on the switch but I dont believe it covered all 12Vs - 94-96 3500 Ram I believe it was.

i had tha same prob, i just changed out tha head light switch an was fine gl
