Is This A Factory Recall??
 

Hey guys i was driving home the other night and turned my bright lights on. about 30 seconds with them on and i lost all headlights. i had to turn it off the brights and turn the headlight knob off then back on and my dims work. ive done it several times now and my dim lights work fine but i cant use the brights at all. is this a factory recall with the switch or??

mines doin the exact same thing. i know the headlight switch is a recall but i already cut the plastic plug off so i dont think they'll honor the recall. it wont hurt to try th call ur local dealership and let them take a look. free work is always good

There was a recall on the switch but I dont believe it covered all 12Vs - 94-96 3500 Ram I believe it was.
