boost line T
i had found a thread that described putting a "T" with a needle valve on your boost line instead of the adjustable boost elbow. i know they said that you could pick up the parts at ace hardware for this application. anyone have any further information about this, and maybe pictures. How does it work? i can't find the post anymore, thanks guys

it just delays the opening of the waste gate abit causing higher mid range boost numbers...it'll still open the gate the same ammount and keep your boost at the same high end regulated psi but it's still a fluid motion opposed to the boost elbow where once it unseats the check ball it dumps the wastegate and visa versa for closing. it's cheaper and has some advantages over the boost elbo; so thats why most guys opt for this instead of the boost elbow
so what all is needed to assemble it. i remember something about a needle valve and a "T" but is that it? you just screw the needle valve into the T and splice the wastegate line?
so im with joshmock..i read the post before and ran straight to OSH and asked anyone and everyone who worked there..no one knew what i was talkin about..can anyone help with hat section of OSH i might be in..ex: plumbing, elec...or a pic even of this mod on someones truck..any help greatly appreciated..
I removed the tube that runs from back of afc housing to the 1/4inch tube that goes to wastegate. I bought a t needle valve with 1/4 inch compression fittings on each side and piece of 1/4inch copper tubing. I installed the the valve on the tube that already exists to the waste gate on one side then the copper tube i bought on the other side. Then i cut the hose shorter to finish the line to the back of the afc. parts total cost me 4 dollars.
