so your just running an filter on your turbo ... holly warm air

 

i went to o'reilly and baught the biggest round paper filter they had. 17 bucks and it's the same as the bhaf, except maybe just a little smaller. went to lowe's and bought a pvc fitting to go between the filter and intake hose. works great and total cost was 20 bucks, and i won't feel bad if something happens to my filter or if i need to change it. it was only 17 bucks and not 60. also, if you search maybe you can find it, but it was a thread with some information about the difference between cold air intake and just an open filter. it was about a 6 hp gain, so not worth the $300 for me.... i'll just bend a heat shield for free.
