Dang wouldnt expect it to get hot enough unless you were slipping the crap out of it to get it to light off the tires. Like slipping it hard for 5 or 6 seconds or more. Shouldnt have to slip it at all to get it to light tires off though. I know on my stock clutch i can do pertty good 2nd gear smokes from a power brake. and mine has never welded together or anything.

i fthere were a way to break it loose in the truck some how that would be the ticket. Mabey get it going and get it rolling some how get it into the right gear and slap the pedel on and off till it comes loose. But that might not work i dont know just an idea..

You just smack that cross member with a hand sledge back n forth a few times and there is a sweet spot in there that it will pop right out when ya find it. No need to spread the frame and stress everything.

getting it out aint as hard as getting it back in its not realy stressing anything when you do it, it doesnt take a lot of force at all to spread it i had one that was easyier to get out but the one i got now requires you to spread the frame. I use a hilift jack for mine.
