Need more info on your truck Dan - do you have guages? Do you have anything done to your tranny?

Any other mods? What fuel plate do you have in there?

oh boy, a #100 plate full forward - with NO guages??? You are asking for a melted piston(s) buddy.

I would put the stock plate back in until you get a pyrometer and boost guage. Doing anything else is foolish.

Guages, high flow air filter, 4" or 5" exhaust and some tranny work is the starting point. (in that order)

ok after you do what the doc said to raise fuel press you either get an aftermarket fuel pump or stretch the overflow spring.

for more injection press I would assume more rack travel would be the answer for that one

Now, stretching the overflow spring - by stretching, we are talking about 1/8". If you are going to do that you should probably have a FP guage.

I stretched mine 1/8" and the pump started ticking.
