loosing coolant
loosing coolant and its not hitting the ground. head gaskets? also oil gettin into my coolant. gotta drive it so how unsafe is this? arent i just burnin off the coolant i loose? and i pour white smoke occasionaly? isnt that related to coolant?
yeah your headgasket is shot, the oil in the coolant isnt a problem...now coolant in the oil is an issue and could cause bad bad wear on the internals of the engine...is the oil milky or brown??
I would get it changed regardless, its not hard especially a 12v a good saturday with a couple buddies to help lift the head off the block and you can have it done in like 8 hours easy maybe less

yes; burning coolant will cause a white smoke. especially on start up. coolant is some pretty nasty stuff too. depending on how stong the mixture is you may end up with some kind of weird deposits form in the same manner carbon does. or you may end up with a perfectly steam cleaned cylinder and head. this also causes a problem b/c of lack of lubrication to the cylinder walls. and damage to that cylinder can result. if you have to run it... run it; but get it changed ASAP you'll be much happier with yourself if you take it down for a weekend instead of a full week for more involved repairs to the block. if oil is making its way tinto the coolant but not coolant into the oil it sounds like it just popped... repair it b4 it starts to reverse the roles and coolant gets into the oil. it's alot easier to do than you'd think... the cooling system stays pressurized until it cools down; and the big hunk of steel doesnt cool quick at all. so; durring operation oil pushes past into the coolant but with the engine off the coolant pressurized at say...16lb is allowed to leak off into the oil.
I have also seen where coolant leaking due to a blown head gasket will etch the block where the coolant is being vaporized. That could possibly be a worse case scenario but it is possible and if it compromises the chance of resealing the head then your talking more than a head-gasket issue.
If the head-gasket is blown then I would NOT recommend driving it until it was fixed. You could do the head bolt tighter deal, but, its no guarantee that it will seal and hold high boost application and could cause another head-gasket failure.
